STUDIO TWO (Ages 8-12)

Studio Two Youth will give our young students a chance to improve their knowledge of theatre while putting together a workshop production of a 30-minute musical. Using new musicals based on classic Disney films, children will learn the basics of working with a script to prepare a production. Boston Children's Theatre's professional theatre educators will not only lead participants through the rehearsal process, but will also teach them many basic theatre skills and terminology such as stage directions, improvisation and character development. This fun and interactive program is great for beginners as well as children who have been in productions before.

On the last day of the program, family and friends are invited to a performance of the musical!

Broadway Spectacular (Ages 8-13)

    at the BCT Studios and at Endicott College

    Session 1: 7/12 to 7/16

    Monday through Friday from 9AM to 4PM Fee: $350

Broadway Spectacular is for children with a desire to explore their singing and performance abilities. Using popular material from various musicals, students will gain experience in singing, acting and movement. The final class will conclude with a Broadway-themed showcase, for family and friends, of solos and group numbers rehearsed during the week.

Studio Kids Rock! (Ages 12-16)

    at the BCT Studios

    Session 1: 8/2 to 8/6

    Monday through Friday from 9AM to 4PM Fee: $350

Using popular theatre songs from some of Broadway's rock musicals, students will gain experience in singing, acting and movement. Students interested in the mix of Broadway performance and contemporary song and dance will love this fast paced five-day workshop. The final class will conclude with a rock-themed showcase of solos and group numbers learned during the week.
