STUDIO FOUR ADVANCED (Ages 14-19)

   In-State Fee: $1545   Out-of-State Fee: $1725

   Residential Option: additional $1825 (for total of $3550)

STUDIO FOUR ADVANCED is an intensive pre-professional training program for students interested in the profession of musical theater. Led by Broadway professionals, this five-week program will include master casses taught by professional actors, workshops led by professional educators and rehearsals for full-scale musical productions.

Each morning, Monday through Friday, students take intensive classes in acting, dance and music theatre performance. The afternoons are dedicated to rehearsals for main stage productions held the final weekend of the program.

All classes are held from Monday through Friday 9AM to 6PM. The final two weekends of the program technical rehearsals and performances are held on Saturdays and Sundays as well. Shows will be performed in rotating repertory at the Governor's Academy.

A Shuttle from the Boston Children's Theatre downtown Boston will be available to all students with advanced sign-up.

TECHNICAL THEATER WORKSHOP (Ages 14-18) At the Governor's Academy

    July 26th - August 8th

    Fee: $425

 

Technical Theatre Workshop is designed for those students interested in behind-the-scenes theater experience. Students will have the opportunity to work with theater professionals to create the technical elements needed to produce the Studio Four musicals.

Students of this program will gain experience in various areas of technical theater. They will not only construct the pieces necessary to bring the productions to life, they will be an integral part of the performance, as they become a valued member of the running crew for the performances.

 

 

All Technical Theater Workshop classes will be held from 9AM to 6PM at the Governor's Academy.
